Technical writing is designed to help the user. It is distinguished by accuracy, conciseness, simplicity, and intelligibility.
We have many years of experience with technical documentation. Most user assistance we create is in the area of software development for data protection and backup (data storage, backup & restore), and out-of-the box and custom made plugins — for international target audiences (in English).
Need professional help?
We have created technical documentation for major players in the field of software development. This includes the design and development of online help for data protection software, currently placed among Challengers in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Backup/Recovery Software.
ONLINE HELP DEVELOPMENT
We are skilled in writing technical texts in English in the field of data backup software. We developed online help and printed user manuals. For this, we used professional tools, including Adobe FrameMaker +SGML, RoboHelp and Dreamweaver.
USER ASSISTANCE & CASE STUDIES
We collaborate with German, US and Slovenian software development companies. We are currently creating several types of user and marketing documentation, including:
-> wiki software user manuals in English
-> Release Notes, online news on software development and other related news (RSS)
-> case studies and use cases
-> customer success stories
-> We are a member of Tekom Europe, the European umbrella organization for technical communication.
EXPERIENCE AT HOME
We were involved in the development of online support for the use of some of the online software solutions used by e-government and banks. As part of a large group of technical writers in the then Slovenian IT company, we were members of the international organization Society for Technical Communication (STC) and we organized trainings in the field of creation of technical documentation.

THERE IS HARDLY ANY TOOL THAT WE HAVEN’T USED*
We develop documentation by using all sorts of word processors, WIKI and HTML editors, we are familiar with SGML, CSS, Acrobat Professional, CMS, and various web interfaces (there are none that we cannot learn!). We equip useful tips with images that we create in Photoshop, Visio, or Screenshot Captor.
*This includes a screwdriver and a hammer when mechanical failure occurs on our premises. Use of the coffee pot and a cloth. Everything else is backed up regularly and nothing is left to chance. With our words, you are in safe hands!
